FAQs
Here is a selection of answers to some of the questions that we get asked the most.
Are you taking on new patients?
Yes – at the moment we are. Please call our friendly reception staff on 01257 279757 to find out how you can join our practice – or see our other contact details.
Where is the practice and where can we park?
The practice is on the A6 opposite Elliot’s Bistro, and close to St Johns Church. There is a map on the contact page. A free public car park is available just past St Johns Church.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes – payment for treatment can be made by credit card, cheque or cash. We also have interest-free credit available (subject to status).
Will I be told how much my treatment will cost on my visit?
Yes – as far as possible your dentist will provide you with a printed, itemised treatment plan on your first visit. He will also discuss any options for treatment and help you to decide on the best course of action.
Is treatment free for children?
Yes – routine treatments are free until 18 with the minor exception of some cosmetic work when parent or guardian attend the practice.
Do you have wheelchair access?
Yes you can park at the front of the practice with access to reception, the waiting room and the ground floor surgery.
Can I be seen downstairs?
Yes just ask reception and they will make sure that your dentist will see you in the ground floor surgery.
What’s your cancellation policy?
We ask that patients give us at least 24 hours notice if you have to cancel an appointment. Please read our full Cancellation Policy (pdf opens in new window) covering appointment management and cancellations
